Peggy, Peggy, Peggy. I could not get past your first paragraph in last week’s letter. Where did you come up with the fact that health care spending is the lowest in the recorded history of the United States?
Last year was the highest and Obamacare promises to far exceed spending expectations for those who sign up on the website.
Today I heard a lady state that she is going to pay $1,272 for insurance that she used to pay $479 before it was cancelled by Obamacare. For every one person who signed up for Obamacare, 50 have lost their insurance and it is unsure how many can or will sign up for Obamacare.

In fact, it is estimated by the Obama administration that up to 160 million will lose their insurance by the end of next year and most will not be able to afford Obamacare insurance.
Also, your dream that Republicans (and Tea Party) will take credit for Obamacare once 40 million citizens get insurance next year -- is just a dream! Republicans believe in the free market principles, not big government control when it comes to health insurance.
Your dream will create death panels, inferior medical care and a long wait to see doctors that are not your choice to see. Just look at the experience in Canada and European countries that practice socialized medicine. Is this what you want?
Finally, Obamacare is not the best thing to happen since Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. Both these programs are broke and unless something is done soon, America’s debt will be too big to overcome and life as we know it in the United States will cease to exist.
Obamacare only adds to our debt crises. Let’s hope that Obamacare fails and that Republican and Tea Party principles prevail.
