Fountain Hills is going to be a rocking place next Saturday, April 1, with two concerts filling the (Fountain) Hills with the sound of music.
First up is the Falcon Jam Festival, an event organized by locals who wanted to bring a fun event to town that benefits a good cause. That particular event will be hosted out of the Fountain Hills High School football field from 3 to 9 p.m. While the event itself is free, all proceeds from food and beverage sales will go on to benefit the FHUSD Athletic Booster Club, which helps support our local sports programs at both the middle and high school.
The band Hippie Gold will kick off the show at 3 p.m. with the remaining acts consisting of local teen talent. From Good Boy Daisy to the School of Rock Sugar Skulls, there’s going to be a little something for everyone thrown into the mix for this festival of sounds.

Organizer John Margolis said that the show should be a perfect event for local students and their parents, but the performance is open to all ages and all are invited.
About a mile away, at the Fountain Park amphitheater, Fountain Hills Musicfest will keep the groud moving from 4 to 9 p.m. This event will boast talent including Western Fusion and the popular cover band, Rock Lobster, as well as the Ryan Sims band and Urban Electra.
Food trucks will be on hand for folks looking to grab a bit to go along with the performances.
Whether you settle in for the long haul at one event, split your evening between the two or try to ping-pong your way between the high school and Fountain Park throughout the six hours of entertainment, we invite all Fountain Hills residents to get out and enjoy a day of music while spending plenty of quality time with their neighbors.
