Rain totals, weekend forecast for Fountain Hills

Strong storms predicted

Strong thunderstorms are predicted for the Fountain Hills area Thursday evening into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.  There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms overnight Thursday into Friday morning, with a rain total of a tenth to an quarter of an inch. 

Storm chances remain high at 60% during the day Friday then taper off to 30% that night.

Saturday will have a 30% chance of rain before 11 a.m. while Sunday will see a 40% chance after 11 p.m.
