No doubt this question has been asked before, however, I do not recall a response.
My question is to Ginny Dickey (if she will indeed respond). I have been in politics and am familiar with the write in vote. What I am curious about is why she did not take the route that most politicians take of collecting signatures to automatically get on the ticket.
I know it is not the most fun going door to door but, as a former Council member, she knows the method.

Why choose the write in? It usually does not work and has not for her.
