We in Fountain Hills are blessed with excellent fire protection and emergency medical services. While I have never needed fire services, over the years they have responded to a structure fire, a lightning strike and removed several poisonous snakes in my neighborhood. Always prompt and courteous, even when you bump into them while they are shopping for groceries.

Due to my spouse’s prolonged battle with multiple health issues I have made many 911 calls for EMT services and their response, professionalism and training are without equal; and they saved her life on at least one occasion! I believe we as a town were thankful, as well, for their efforts at the recent tragedy near the lake.

Quality services such as this increase the value of living in Fountain Hills, but there is a significant cost associated with providing them. Remember this and vote yes on May 15.
