He has been a long-time advocate for our police (MCSO) and fire departments (Rural Metro) and has supported our valued Fountain Hills’ amphitheater, concerts, splash pad, picnic facilities, theater etc. He is committed to Fountain Hills being a community that preserves its residents’ quality of life, business vitality and citizen-centered opportunities.

Several past and current members of town council and mayors have endorsed Cecil Yates with letters and posts to The Fountain Hills Times and Connections, stating that he is a person most qualified and has the “institutional knowledge” (background and experience) to lead our town forward. He knows how to think on his feet, expressing thoughts clearly with answers and opinions.

Watching his career over the last few years, it became obvious that Cecil’s positive vision for Fountain Hills and an effective economic development plan for our community make him an ideal candidate for mayor.
