The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission will look at a new request for a residential special use permit for a downtown commercial property when it meets Monday, Oct. 13.
A developer has brought in a new plan for the 12,000-square-foot lot on Avenue of the Fountains immediately west of the Chase Bank at Avenue of the Fountains and Verde River Drive. The commission previously recommended denial of a similar application for the same property earlier this year.
The new plan proposes up to six residential units on two stories above first-floor commercial use.
