A recent Arizona Republic article (Feb. 1, 2023) by Sam Kmack criticizes newly elected Town Council members for firing a lobby consultant who was held on retainer. Prior to proposing the elimination of the retained consultant, it was clarified that the consultant could be hired on an “as needed” basis.

The newly elected Council members ran on scrutinizing our Town budget line by line to save taxpayer dollars. Council members are fulfilling their campaign promises. Thank you.
