The monthly Presby Pickin’s Flea Market is set to return on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Located at Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church, 13001 N. Fountain Hills Blvd., this community event promises a lively atmosphere with food, music, unique vendors and opportunities to support meaningful causes, according to a press release.
The February market will shine a spotlight on two community initiatives: the Fountain Hills Protect Our Youth Coalition, which focuses on preventing substance abuse and supporting local youth and Extended Hands Food Bank, which provides vital food assistance to those in need.
Attendees are invited to stop by and learn how they can contribute to these organizations.
A highlight of the February market is the introduction of “PresBee Picker,” the new flea market mascot, who represents the excitement of treasure hunting at Presby Pickins.’
Guests are invited to take selfies with PresBee Picker and share the buzz with friends and family and enter a drawing for electronics.
Food lovers will enjoy an array of offerings from returning food trucks including Yumi’s Coffee Truck, known for its Japanese coffee and baked goods; Fountain Hills Food Cart, serving a variety of tasty lunch options and Lumpia Queen of AZ, offering authentic Filipino cuisine.
Music will fill the air throughout the day, with a DJ spinning tunes from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by live performances of The Mystic Five from noon to 2 p.m.
Shoppers can browse a wide selection of items from local vendors, including art, collectibles and handcrafted goods, while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church will host tables featuring donated items such as tools, toys, games and electronics with proceeds benefiting church ministries and community outreach programs.
For those interested in donating items, the church accepts a variety of goods, excluding furniture and clothing.
Donations can be arranged by calling 480-837-1763. Vendors looking to be a part of Presby Pickin’s Flea Market can reserve a space for $25 at fhpresbyterian.info/fleamarket. Additional tables and chairs are available to rent for $5 each.
