Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church senior pastor Bill Good and assistant pastor Ken Brown will conduct a special sermon series, “Heatwave: Burning Questions for a Hot Summer,” beginning Sunday, Aug. 28, at both the 9 a.m. traditional and 11:15 a.m. contemporary services.
The pastors will address the questions in a casual dialogue at the front of the sanctuary and stage.
The format began in formal meetings and discussions between the two men at the start of their pastoring relationship and has continued.

Parishioners will “eavesdrop” on their spontaneous conversation about questions that individuals often have but are embarrassed or self-conscious to ask.
The unscripted, typical discussion may involve “Why do bad things happen to good people?” and “Why does God take little babies home to Heaven, before their time?” or “Where exactly is God?”
The church’s address is 13001 Fountain Hills Blvd. The church office is opened from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday, during the summer. The telephone number is 480-837-1673.
