Pool draining

In the last week, I have seen two homes draining their pools into the street. In the interest of both making the best use of a precious resource and knowing town regulations, I called FHSD to inquire regarding their policy.

I was referred to town code. Pool effluent, unless otherwise stipulated, should go into the sanitary sewer system. Pool owners may read the town position at fh.az.gov/318/Draining-Your-Pool-and-Spa.
