Poems & songs

I was ready to watch the Super Bowl last Sunday and, before the game, a poem was narrated by Johnny Cash called, “That old ragged flag.” It was so beautiful, I would like you to print it in your paper if you can get it.

Also, just at the beginning of the game, those three girls sang “America, the beautiful.” In my opinion, they better learn how to sing it before they sing in front of millions, or maybe they should stick to the Broadway stage and stay there with their Hamilton.

These modern day singers always try to ruin the beautiful American anthems. Sing it the way it was written or don’t sing it at all.
