Plane goes down at Fort McDowell

A small, single engine Piper aircraft went down in a wash on the Fort McDowell Yavapai Reservation Wednesday afternoon.

The plane with two people on board left Falcon Field in Mesa for a local flight when it experienced engine trouble.

The pilot was able to bring the plane down in a wide wash with a wing clipping a tree and the plane flipping to its top.

Plane goes down at Fort McDowell

A small, single engine Piper aircraft went down in a wash on the Fort McDowell Yavapai Reservation Wednesday afternoon.

The plane with two people on board left Falcon Field in Mesa for a local flight when it experienced engine trouble.

The pilot was able to bring the plane down in a wide wash with a wing clipping a tree and the plane flipping to its top.

Those on the plane were evaluated by Fort McDowell Fire Department paramedics, but there were no reported injuries.
