The issue of gays contains a trap. The instinctive repugnance of straights versus gays is probably caused by the straights imagining themselves as participants in gay sex. An adult discussion suspends instinct while exploring the deeper aspect of the issue.
If God created people with gender confusion, what is His message? Is the gay issue to be assigned a higher priority than most other issues or is it the result of the imperfection of earthly genetics?
Perhaps the message is to use our brains to understand the issue fully before condemning. Maybe loving others in spite of differences has a higher priority than gender correctness.
