I have recently assumed the position of president of ADOG. Our 501(c)3 charitable organization is set up to help our canine friends, not only at the dog park but anywhere in Fountain hills where we can help.
ADOG decided to fund the noise abatement project. We also pledged the labor necessary to get the job done. More than 25 of our members arrived at 9 a.m. on Sept. 19. In three hours the job was done.
I would like to thank Mark Mayer and Don Clark, town employees, for showing up and lending a hand. I would also like to specially acknowledge the hardest working park attendant I have ever seen, Jackie.

With almost zero budget and only two hours per week she manages to keep this park going. I hope the town will recognize her hard work and find a way to free up more time to keep this wonderful town asset in top shape.
We realize that times are tough and not every concern that requires money can be addressed, and that is why I took the job. That is why I am asking dog lovers everywhere to visit our website at www.adogfh.org to learn about what we do and why we need your help to support the dog park and all of our canine friends.
The only way to ensure the dog park remains open, in good repair and has a strong voice to the Town Council rests with the support that we can generate in our community.
I hope you like what we are doing and I hope you will decide to become a member of the ADOG community. Our voice gets stronger with each new member.
