Picnic area near completion in Fountain Hills

Will be ready for July 4th holiday

The tables have been put in place and landscapers are busy putting finishing touches on the new picnic site in Fountain Park near the splash pad water play area.

A 55-foot by 60-foot shade canopy was installed over an area to cover the 17-table configuration with seating for well over 100 at one time.

The project also includes landscaping and sidewalk connectivity to existing amenities.
