I am writing to provide a little perspective on all of the criticism being leveled against Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake over their sponsorship of new comprehensive immigration reform.
Count me as a strong conservative who is also a realist. I understand that for our country to move ahead and actually solve our immigration problem, we will need a solution that includes a path to citizenship.

I am writing to provide a little perspective on all of the criticism being leveled against Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake over their sponsorship of new comprehensive immigration reform.
Count me as a strong conservative who is also a realist. I understand that for our country to move ahead and actually solve our immigration problem, we will need a solution that includes a path to citizenship.
This bill does that, along with securing our border and modernizing our legal immigration system.
I applaud Senators Flake and McCain for their hard work, and even more so for their courage to take a stand on this very polarizing topic.
