Last week, there were a couple of letters to the editor promoting one or another unelected council candidates to fill the position left by Cecil Yates. Everyone has a right their own opinion, but shouldn’t the position properly be filled by the electorate – the people of Fountain Hills?

Any other option would override the will of the people. If the people’s choice is recognized as the most relevant choice, then Sharron Grzybowski should be appointed to the position.
