Two pedestrians suffered serious injuries when they were struck by a vehicle as they were crossing in a crosswalk at La Montana Drive and Avenue of the Fountains approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.
This was just after the holiday Stroll in the Glow along the Avenue of the Fountains.
According to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office the two were attempting to cross La Montana on the south side of the intersection when they were struck. MCSO reports they sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
