Pavement management, council member stipends on Fountain Hills Town Council first meeting

First regularly scheduled meeting of season

In its first regularly scheduled meeting of the season, one of the most pressing issues the Fountain Hills Town Council will discuss is pavement management funding.

The meeting will be held 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Streets Superintendent Jeff Pierce will present proposed paving locations for fiscal year 2026-27, utilizing the $3 million in available funding, according to the meeting packet. While the council approved $6.4 million for paving projects, this includes roughly $3.4 million that was approved the year prior. The 14 proposed roads listed were selected through the pavement management system.
