What is happening to the lovely park around the fountain?
Over the years I have lived in the Scottsdale area and looked forward to a drive up to the fountain to enjoy a walk or just sit and relax, taking in the beauty and serenity of the area. I recently moved to Fountain Hills and am now able to enjoy the walks and relaxation more frequently.
The issues that have been going on with the odor and color of the water are disappointing but understandable with the explanations given and hopefully this will be under control soon.

I am saddened by the vandalism and theft being done to the beautiful sculptures and signs around the fountain of late. I am noticing more people riding bikes and skateboards, which I thought was not allowed. There used to be a couple of signs with some rules about that, however, on my walk the other night, I noticed those signs were gone. Have they too been stolen?
What is happening and can we not figure out some type of security measures to be put into place or force? I know that means manpower and or money but I am afraid if nothing is done this great place will no longer exist in the manner it is meant to be enjoyed.
