The reconstruction of Palomino Boulevard is set to begin the first week of September, with the initial steps toward completion of a multi-million-dollar reconstruction project on the street.
Designated as a capital improvement project the objective is to enhance pavement conditions on a street badly in need of repairs.
The first phase to be done, beginning Sept. 3, is the removal and repair of concrete curbs. This marks the first visible work of the project. During this time, some driveways may be temporarily inaccessible and impacted residents will receive advance notice, according to Town of Fountain Hills Community Relations Director/PIO Mike Pelton.
