Youth performance team sings for local residents

Paige Productions Youth Theater’s (PYT) All-Stars Performance Team sang and danced their way into the hearts of residents at Fountain View Village and Fountain Hills Post Acute Care in March.

These local performers range from seven to 18 years of age and each performance includes an a capella rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner,” and songs from Broadway, Disney and others, a press release read.

The All-Stars Performance Team features PYT performers who have proved their professionalism and talent on and off stage.

Many of the performers have been in several shows and have developed their vocal and dance skills to an advanced level.

A particularly poignant moment came when a gentleman approached the team with tears in his eyes saying, “I’ve lived here for 10 years, and these are the most accomplished performers I’ve ever seen come through.”

“We love sharing the performing arts with the communities at Fountain View Village and Fountain Hills Post Acute,” said Fountain Hills resident Paige Beckman, PYT director. “It really means a lot to these kids to get such meaningful feedback from the community.”

The All-Stars are also looking forward to performing at the Fountain Hills Library Summer Reading Kick-Off for the second year in a row.

This performance will take place at the Fountain Hills Library Monday June 3, at 11:15 a.m.

The spring All-Stars team includes the following performers: Aliya Holzkopf, Anya Holzkopf, Bryce Andrews, Faith Andrews, Harlequin Kohler, Hayden Wheatman, Kennedy Lettieri, Kinley Clark, Malayna McCune, Matthew Schmidt, Melody Beckman, Stella Buck, Remy Roberts, Sinclair Galakatos, Topanga Kohler and Zane Maatta.
