A power outage occurred Saturday, Aug. 15, reportedly affecting 994 homes in Fountain Hills.

The outage, which lasted between 5:42 and 7:56 p.m., affected homes in the area west of Fountain Hills Blvd. and north of Palisades Blvd.

According to SRP, the cause of the outage was determined to be a faulty underground switch.
