Out of touch

One thing we learned from the defeat of the proposed 20 percent property tax increase was that this town council is out of touch with the Fountain Hills citizens. Fountain Hills is at a critical juncture and needs town council members who can understand finance and budgets, ask tough questions and communicate with the public.

Gerry Friedel, David Spelich and Marcus Bulow von Dennewitz will do just that. They are the only candidates who fought the 20 percent tax increase. They have extensive knowledge and experience in finance, budgeting and public safety. They are the only candidates who are knocking on doors in this summer heat. They are listening to our views and concerns. Listening to you is not just a campaign slogan, they are actively doing just that.

The Fountain Hills Town Council needs fresh ideas and professional understanding of our two biggest issues: Town finances and public safety. And, most importantly, we need council members who represent the people, not special interests. Please join me in voting for them.
