We simply don’t understand why the U.S. government did not take a swifter, stronger stand with the domestic terrorists occupying the Malheur Refuge in Oregon.
These thugs are threatening the citizens and government of the U.S. and want to steal our public lands.
No one wants them there; not the ranchers they say they’re supporting, not the town, not the county. They are there for their own self-promotion.

The Bundys have stolen repeatedly from us, the taxpayers. Cliven Bundy should be in jail for his anti-government activities. For some reason, he thinks he does not have to pay grazing fees for using our land and his son took out a small business loan he has not repaid. Why do they think we should be supporting them?
Can you imagine the reaction if these armed terrorists taking over a federal building were black or Muslim? Why are these right-wing terrorists being coddled? Put them in jail and make them pay back everything they owe us.
We agree with this quote, from author and Oregonian, Ursula K. Le Guin:
“Ammon Bundy and his bully boys aren’t trying to free federal lands, but to hold them hostage. I can’t go to the Malheur refuge now, though as a citizen of the United States, I own it and have the freedom of it. That’s what public land is: land that belongs to the public – me, you, every law-abiding American.”
