Howard Iskyan: as a legal immigrant and a Trump supporter, I take personal offense to your opinion letter.

There is a difference between a “protester” and a “disruptor.” Paid disruptors do not deserve “praise,” they deserve to be in jail for using force to block roads!

Mr. Trump does not oppose “legal” immigration. His own wife and mother are immigrants. Trump opposes the illegal invasion of our borders – the invasion that has cost our country billions in incarceration, medication and education costs, all while tens of millions of Americans are living in poverty.

How about our vets who are dying waiting to get medical care? Have you, Howard Iskyan, ever lost a loved one to a senseless crime committed by an illegal invader?

Your name reflects Armenian heritage. Have you forgotten the Great Armenian Genocide and Nagorniy Karabakh, when Radical Islamic Terrorists slaughtered millions of innocent Armenian Christians? Are you denying the existence of the Radical Islamic threat, or are you just trying to be politically correct in order to hide your ignorance of history?

Our country is $19 trillion in debt, our borders are like Swiss cheese, and the rise of Radical Islamic Terrorism has claimed responsibility for countless murders worldwide. It is not “racist” when one opposes the illegal invasion of our borders. It is not “racist” when someone openly speaks out against a fascist ideology that has claimed 274 million senseless murders and, to this day, continues to butcher its way across the globe.

Get your head out of the sand, Iskyan. There are countless patriots of all races and ethnicities that come out to our rallies, and shame on you for using “race” to silence a movement that believes in defending our sovereignty and keeping our country safe!
