North Chapel resumes casual Saturday service

Posted

North Chapel is bringing back the 5:30 p.m., Saturday service.

Pastor Bobby Brewer described the service as a casual, “come-as-you-are” coffeehouse-type service that lasts about an hour.

The service features worship and Bible teaching with an opportunity to text in questions about the message.

“Due to the fact that Sundays are increasingly becoming a work or travel day in our culture, we wanted to provide an alternative for people who want to do church but can’t make it on Sunday,” said Brewer. “And, of course, there are those who simply want to sleep in. Regardless, it’s an opportunity to fellowship and get some church and Biblical teaching into your weekly spiritual diet.”

The Sunday service begins at 9:30 a.m. North Chapel’s location is 17210 E. Amhurst Dr.
