The Fountain Hills Times is a great newspaper, as well as the editors and staff. I’ve been reading it for over 20 years and have noticed lost words of our youth never seem to appear. Heavens to Murgatroyd! How things have changed in our language.
No one drives a jalopy anymore, which is not hunky dory with me. I don’t want to sound like a broken record and get hung out to dry, but I think they should straighten up and fly right.
Heavens to Betsy, gee willikers, how things have changed.

How things have changed, but life is swell.
Where are the DA’s beehives, pageboys, pedal pushers, saddle shoes and Kilroy? We’re in a fine kettle of fish. I’ll be a monkey’s uncle. Where have these phrases gone?
Fiddlesticks, maybe things will change again.
Until then, see you in the funny papers, don’t take any wooden nickels, or any Carters little liver pills.
