Like many educators, one of Val Reichler’s mantras is to never stop learning.
That’s why she not only went back and finished her second master’s degree in September of last year — and it’s why she’s in the process this spring of learning what it takes to be a successful district superintendent.
Reichler was chosen in March by the Fountain Hills Unified Board to succeed the retiring Cain Jagodzinski July 1 as the next superintendent. She’s transitioning from the role of McDowell Mountain Elementary School principal she’s been in since the start of the 2024-25 school year.
