Many months ago the voters of Fountain Hills, myself included, rejected a massive $29 million road construction/ maintenance bond that was long on spending and short on specifics.
However, the rejection of that first road bond did not change the fact that some of our town’s roads are in bad shape.
The new proposed road bond for only $8 million dollars is fiscally sound and reasonable. It takes care of Saguaro Boulevard, one of our town’s major arteries and the one that is in the worst shape of all.

Public safety and civic pride require that we step up and fix this deteriorating unsafe road immediately. That’s why I am voting yes on the revised road bond.
