On the morning of Saturday, Oct. 24, more than 300 volunteers will be cleaning homes, organizing garages, building wheel chair ramps, providing much-needed landscaping and removing debris and clutter at the homes of some of our most vulnerable town residents.
Residents who may have several health issues and limitations, who may be unable to cover the costs for landscaping, cleaning or painting, who many no longer drive or have relatives nearby. These residents are our neighbors and the Make a Difference Day can be a solution to their challenges.

Make a Difference Day needs you!
The Make a Difference Day Planning Committee needs your help in identifying and inviting those residents to receive such services. You may know someone on your block, in your neighborhood or your church who would benefit from the time and labor given by local volunteers on Make a Difference Day morning. There are no fees involved.
Our community is known as “the small town with a BIG heart.” Please take the time to think of someone for whom you can make a difference. Contact me at Town Hall, hware@fh.az.gov/madd; 480-816-5108.
Register to volunteer online, too -- it takes only four hours on Oct. 24 to show your care through volunteer service!
