Myra “Myke” S. Olson, 79, of Fountain Hills passed away on May 17, 2014. Formerly of Ocean Springs, Miss. and originally from Park Ridge, Ill., Myra was preceded in death by her husband, C. Gerald Olson.
She is survived by three sons: Lawrence Olson, Gregory Olson (Lynn), and Steven Olson (Jessica); and by three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Myra also leaves behind three sisters: Maybelle Rygh (Gerald), Laura Carlson (Hubert) and Sandra Mayhew (Larry). Numerous nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces will remember “Aunt Myke” with much love.
She knew that “there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God, which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
A memorial celebration of life will be held at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 16150 El Lago Blvd., Fountain Hills at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29. Memorials in Myra’s name may be given to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church at P.O. Box 17444, Fountain Hills, AZ 85269.
