With respect to the last week’s “My Opinion” column by Ginny Dickey, Town Council member, she is correct…blatant dishonesty is still shocking and she is very naïve, even at her age!
How incorrectly opinionated can one be? Seriously, she stated “they neglected to inform the town and law enforcement”…They are the town law enforcement! What cave are you living in Ginny?

And how can anyone sensationalize the tragedy of Sandy Hook…I think the events of the Sandy Hook tragedy became a worldwide sensation all on its own! Stop apologizing for us please Ginny…although I’m not sure how you were elected to the council, I know I don’t need you apologizing for me or actions taken in our town…Stop!
I was at the “protest” that day, I saw and heard you…and even at my age, I’m not naïve! You stood there and hollered out comments that were unbecoming a Town Council member!
And to publicly write a column advocating the recall of Sheriff Joe Arpaio…have you lost your mind? Your letter is very unsettling and marks appearances of derangement with references to your entire life in order to inform us of “your opinion;” as for the way you have addressed your letter, there should be concern for your current state of mind.
The residents in the neighborhood opened their driveways to us for parking, they offered us water, and they came to stand by us…the passing motorists tooted horns and applauded us for being there to support the Sheriff’s Office and their effort to protect our children; no one was there to support your efforts Ginny, just the handful of your cronies.
How about a letter of “resignation”…that would be “My Opinion?!”
