News media should give viewers and listeners honest news; guess it depends who’s at the helm. People don’t know that by reversing Bush administration policy, the Obama administration is encouraging Beijing to acquire equity interests in U.S. energy.
The first Chinese investment occurred in October 2010 by state-owned Chinese energy giant CNOOC buying a multi-billion stake in 600,000 acres of south Texas oil and gas fields in the Eagle-Ford formation that runs largely from southwest of Antonio to the Mexican border.

They want American know-how about tapping the hard-to-get deposits trapped in dense shale rock formations.
Along with CNOOC, which is 100 percent owned by the communist Chinese government, Sinopec Group is also purchasing energy interest in the U.S.
Wyoming: CNOOC has one-third stake in Wyoming after $1.27 billion pact with Chesapeake Energy. Sinopec gained a one-third interest in Devon Energy’s 320,000 acres.
Ohio: Sinopec acquired a one-third interest in Devon Energy’s 235,000 Utica Shale acres, a $2.5 billion deal. Oklahoma: Sinopec acquired a one-third interest in 215,000 acres in a deal with Devon Energy. Colorado: CNOOC gained a one-third stake in 800,000 acres in Colorado and Wyoming for $1.27 billion with Chesapeake Energy. Michigan: Sinopec gained one-third interest in 350,000 acres. Louisiana: Sinopec has one-third interest in 265,000 acres in Tuscaloosa Marine Shale.
It’s odd that Obama’s administration is against oil industry profits, blames fossil fuels for planet-threatening climate change, yet places vast energy-rich areas off limits to U.S. oil companies and restricts them from exploration and development.
This administration is keeping media focused on gun control, same sex marriage, illegal problems. Between 2000 and 2010 America’s Hispanic population jumped over 43 percent; giving them citizenship and free perks will keep those in power now to continue. Thereby while working under the radar changing our nation, the inner circle then has free reign.
