More rain for FH overnight

The rain that began Tuesday morning continued into Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. It was a gentle rain with a thunderstorm. An additional .08-inch fell over much of the community overnight with one rain gauge, at the Palisades Blvd. Fire Station, collecting .12-inch.

Farther north the rain fell heavier as just north of town along McDowell Mountain Road a rain gauge collected .35-inch, and McDowell Mountain Park received .55-inch.

There was no reading available from the Verde Communities, but reports indicate the thunderstorm brought heavy rain there, with no damage reported during this storm.
