Medicare seminar scheduled in Fountain Hills
Hosted at the Community Center
(Metro Creative)
Community members are invited to learn more about Medicare.
Posted
Medicare’s annual Open Enrollment begins Tuesday, Oct 15.
Volunteer counselors from the non-profit Area Agency on Aging Benefits Assistance Program invite anyone interested in Medicare to attend their annual seminar at Fountain Hills Community Center.
The seminar will include an in-depth look at the Medicare program and specifically its benefits and options for 2025. Individuals who have a Medicare Prescription Drug plan or are a member of a Medicare Advantage plan, should carefully read the Annual Notice of Change sent in September. This document contains information for the upcoming year, including changes to monthly premium, deductible and cost-sharing.
In 2025, there will be two major changes to Medicare’s drug coverage so reading that notice is critical this year.
The seminar will take place Saturday Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (followed by a question and answer session) at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N. La Montana Drive. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Call the Community Center at 480-816-5200 to register. This seminar is free and open to the public.
The seminar is sponsored by the Town of Fountain Hills Community Center.
