I see letters to the editor always taking issue with our town council leadership. It’s always the same people saying the same thing. They are never happy.
I see personal sniping, virtue signaling. Personally, I feel our current mayor, Jerry Friedel, has accomplished a lot in his first term. Mayor Friedel is so community oriented and gets out to speak to and discuss ideas with the town people. Our last mayor never reached out to our community, as Mr. Friedel does. He also listens.
For the record, while my views do lean more conservative, I’m registered as Independent. More than anything I believe in common sense and being part of a great community.
