We thank all who stopped by our Marine Corps League Detachment 1439 booth at the Fountain Hills Art Fair! Your donations, while we handed out the Marine Rose, will help us to bring comfort to veterans, support youth programs and provide humanitarian aid.

We had people from all walks of life stop by to support us, to share their stories; from Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard veterans, to retirees from all over the country, to children, to families, to the young and the young-at-heart. Thank you so much. Your donations help us to:

*Assist wounded veterans and provide health and comfort items for hospitalized veterans.

*Scholarships

*Humanitarian aid

*Assist local youth programs.

We were joined on Saturday by the East Valley Young Marines who helped our members – Tait Elkie, Dave Nelson, Phil and Debbie Yin, Ed Dedek, Bob and Bobbi Schmitz, Gene Wuestenfeld, Herb Spohr, Bob LaRue and Nancy Ogden made this event very successful!

Please join us for our 2017 Inaugural Golf Tournament at Desert Canyon Golf Club on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017; 11 a.m. registration, 1 p.m. shotgun start. It’s $80 per player (foursomes) and includes golf, cart, dinner, music and awards, opportunities for raffle prizes, 50/50 drawing and so much more.
