Marco J. Muscarello, age 77, of St. Charles, Ill., passed away on Jan. 16, 2017. Marco fought a long and hard battle with pancreatic cancer and is now at peace.
He was born to Charles and Theresa Muscarello in Chicago, Ill. He graduated from Campion Jesuit High School, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Illinois College of Law.
Marco practiced as an attorney and C.P.A. and also obtained a M.B.A., C.F.E, C.V.A., C.F.P, and P.F.S. Throughout his law career, Marco was a champion of people who didn’t have the power to fight back on their own. In addition, he was very proud to have testified before the U.S. Congress on fraudulent land transfers, resulting in new laws being adopted.
Marco semi-retired from the law in 2001 and then wintered in Fountain Hills, where he brought beauty to the neighborhood by designing and creating Mark’s Park, a valued treasure to the community. He and his wife Trish continued to travel the world.
Marco is survived by his wife, Patricia (Rome) Muscarello; four children; Lynda (Patrick) Kelly, Charles (Lynda) Muscarello, Michelle (Eliot) Costianis, John Peter (Katlin) Muscarello; nine grandchildren, Tanner, Carson and McKenna Kelly, Mia and Nathan Muscarello, Zoe and Anastasia Costianis, Maxwell and Emmet Muscarello; and his sister Marie Angela Veglia. Marco was preceded in death by his parents.
Marco was so full of energy, and love for life and was fortunate to fulfill many of his dreams.
A memorial visitation was held Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. A memorial service was held on Saturday Jan. 21, 2017 at Yurs Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
