A Scottsdale man was taken to the hospital for evaluation of injuries received in a two-vehicle collision on Shea Boulevard at Technology Drive on Tuesday afternoon, April 8.

The man was traveling east on Shea and was passing through the intersection when his vehicle was struck by a car making a left turn from Shea onto Technology Drive. The eastbound vehicle went off the road and traveled about 500 feel along the sidewalk before coming to rest past a driveway into the Target shopping center.

A witness told deputies the eastbound vehicle did have the green light. The driver of the vehicle making the left turn told deputies he was uncertain of the status of the traffic light.
