The Fountain Hills Community center is home to a multitude of different hobbies and recreational activities during the week.
One of the more popular activities you will find at the center is Mah Jongg. From 1 to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, local Mah Jongg players meet at the community center to not only play against each other, but to also socialize and just have fun.
Gail Oliphant, Fountain Hills resident and veteran Mah Jongg player, said that Mah Jongg brings all sorts of different people from town together, united over a common interest.
