Lou Ann Maddox

Lou Ann Maddox passed away peacefully at age 71 on Nov. 29, 2014.

Lou was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and amazing friend. She was a strong woman of faith, her kindness and sweetness brought out the best in everyone around her.

Lou is survived by her loving and supportive husband of 51 years, Richard; daughter, Cindy Gallagher (husband Devon); son, Rick; five grandchildren; and her sister, Wilma Ramsey.

Lou was the youngest of seven children, raised and lived in Taylor, Texas until 1963 when Richard and Lou moved to Florida then moved to Arizona in 1964.

Lou’s list of friends and colleagues grew with her long career in real estate and her involvement with community theatre. Lou’s selfless dedication to assist and support her family and friends was legendary.

We have lost a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend too soon. Each of us has lost a part of ourselves, but all of our lives have been immeasurably enriched by knowing her.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary and Chapel located at 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd.
