Lost/found

A couple of weeks ago I inadvertently misplaced a valuable and sentimental cashmere shawl. When my husband, Boe, and I started thinking about where I had worn it last, we thought it might have been at Euro Pizza Cafe. We went there and asked at the reception desk if they had a lost and found and if a black shawl had been turned in. Thankfully, it had been, and was thus returned to me.

I thank whoever turned it in to the lost and found rather than taking it home and thanks to the staff for keeping it. It means a lot to me.

Once again, we were reminded how many good and honest people there are around us, contrary to what the media most usually portrays by headlining the news with the tragic stories of bad behavior (“if it bleeds, it leads”).
