A local pastel artist will do a live demonstration of her work via the Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery.
Tamara Swindler will paint from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 17 at 16858 E. Avenue of the Fountains. Swindler earned a degree in illustration from Cal State University Fullerton, according to a press release. She gravitated towards the medium of soft pastels because “our colorful desert sunsets begged for it.”
“It’s been a pleasure getting in front of an easel again and create paintings that share the beauty and joy I find in God’s creation with others,” Swindler said in the release.
