Local Chabad schedules Passover Seder

Chabad of Fountain Hills will open its Passover Seder to the community at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 19, in the Chabad Edelman Jewish Center, 16830 E. Avenue of the Fountains.
The eight-day Passover celebration will begin at sundown Friday, April 19, and last until nightfall, Saturday, April 27. Seder dinners will be held on April 19 and 20.

Rabbi Mendy Lipskier will facilitate the intergenerational program featuring a discussion about Passover, food and singing.
The holiday includes restricting the consumption of leavened products such as bread and pasta, and instead earing unleavened matzah.
Although open to the entire Jewish community, regardless of affiliation, a reservation must be made either by calling Chabad, 480-795-6292, or visiting JewishFountainHills.com.
