Please join me and vote to reelect Peggy McMahon to Fountain Hills Town Council to continue benefiting from her experience, ability to work with others, fiscal responsibility and dedication at a time when these qualities are much needed.
Peggy’s broad experience includes four years as a council member, contributing to the quality of our town and strong sense of community. She enhances her experience and builds relationships through serving on boards and committees locally and throughout the Valley.
Peggy’s proven ability to work with others includes serving on the CARES forum from its inception, bringing excellent speakers to our community, and spearheading the committee responsible for Fountain Hills’ recognition as a Dementia-Friendly Town. Peggy has great professional relationships with town staff and supports them through challenging times.
Her fiscal responsibility is not only evident in grant-funded projects, but during her tenure, more has been invested in street repairs than previous councils without adversely affecting the town’s budget. She works closely with the town's finance director to bring in new businesses and support current ones.
Peggy’s dedication to Fountain Hills is demonstrated by many projects we sometimes take for granted: she supports our award-winning parks, new and/or improved splash pad, baseball lights, gym equipment, playground equipment (most of which were offset with grants), pickleball courts, doggie park, picnic area near the splash pad, and the Dark Sky Discovery Center. Her involvement on the Pedestrian Safety Committee resulted in an additional eight miles of bike lanes, new hiking trails and implementation of significant sidewalk infills to enhance walkability all over town.
Speaking of safety, Peggy supports our wonderful MCSO and Fountain Hills Fire Department, whose staff keep Fountain Hills one of the safest towns in Arizona and across the nation.
Let’s reelect Peggy McMahon and keep Fountain Hills the beautiful place we love!
