Little bit better

It’s amazing for a community like ours to have so much going for it! Incredible weather, beautiful housing, great schools, lots of community activities are just the tip of the iceberg when describing the things we love about Fountain Hills. We all want this to continue and even get a little bit better.

I’ve been blessed to have an incredible, loving family, a career that I very much enjoy and like to do, and the ability to help my community. Helping my community is one of the most rewarding jobs I have, and one that I’m pretty good at.

My wonderful parents are still with us at 84 and 89 years old. They taught me to work hard, love your neighbor and give back! My mom taught school for 42 years, mostly in inner city school systems. Her students didn’t have much, sometimes not even shoes. She raided my closet to help her students. She would bring me to her school to help get her room ready for the new year. Seeing the neighborhoods heavily influenced me to want to help.

This influence carried on to get involved and be an active part of our community. Showing up is definitely important, but taking on the leadership roles and actively participating in the work is what’s needed.

My public-private sector education and experience puts me in a unique position to lead Fountain Hills as mayor. My love for the town and the community is all the motivation needed to keep the small town feel we all love.

Our three-point plan will keep Fountain Hills the best place to live and make it a little bit better. So when you receive your ballot this week, please vote Cecil. We’re in this together! For more information, go to votececil.com.
