Mr. Larry Kudlow, economic adviser to President Trump, on “Meet the Press” (April 8), “…Trump is considering rescinding certain parts of the $1.3 trillion spending bill.” (12 zeros.)
Why is partial recension being considered?
Everyone understands that spending more than one has leads to deficits; our daily budgets proves this. So rescinding certain parts of the bill will put a limit on spending for those areas where over-spending is out of control. (Limit the pork.)

Deficit spending is what Fountain Hills’ town council desires. By, by Arizona law, the town must have a balanced budget. It cannot spend in a deficit manner. Towns in Arizona simply cannot deficit spend, try as they might, the law says no.
Fountain Hills cannot print money. So it has tried to sell the town electorate an idea and that idea is a shortfall 10 years out. It is bogus because 10-year predictions do not work.
So the town spends $50,000 and prints up what? Election ballots. Not money, but election ballots. Both printed money and those ballots saying yes result in the same outcome. Overspending, like drunken sailors throwing money around.
But first you needed to be scared like Chicken Little. You are being scared for no good reason. Other than the town council, “Foxy Loxy” wants its hands on new tax money. Have they earned it? No! But as they have in the past, they will surely squander it.
Keep town government small and limited. Keep our town, which we love, limited.
Do not be Chicken Little, vote no. Stand up with all of us voting no; an emphatic no.
