It’s important that boaters check to ensure their life jackets are in good condition and they are the right size and fit for all passengers. In Arizona, life jackets should be replaced every five years.
Arizona law requires that anyone 12 and under must wear a life jacket when on the water. United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 10 Commander Rick Harrach urges all boat and watercraft users to remember the motto “ready, set, WEAR IT.”
